The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock seeks a Forensic Psychologist to join our faculty at our New Hampshire Hospital location in Concord, NH. This position will provide therapy to NGRI patients along with performing risk assessments and consultations. In this role, the candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop a forensic psychology program in addition to having the opportunity of engaging in academic pursuits. The Forensic Psychologist will contribute to the education of medical students and residents and will obtain an academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine. For this role, the ideal candidate will have interest in research and academics.
The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Department of Psychiatry is a major provider of psychiatric care in Northern New England. In addition to providing psychology and psychiatry services at New Hampshire Hospital, our Department has clinical services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), Hanover Psychiatry, and the White River Junction VA Medical Center (in White River Junction, Vermont).
