Overview

Please join us for a lively panel discussion on the ”how-to’s” of establishing a successful psychology practice in Maine. Learn from established practitioners on topics such as networking and practice development, ethical challenges, uses of technology, and working in multi-disciplinary settings.  Come with your questions, concerns and success stories to share with your colleagues. Although this seminar is primarily geared towards those in the early phases of their careers, this will also be an informative session for any psychologist seeking to build and sustain a successful practice.

Learning Objectives

After attending this workshop attendees will have a better understanding of

  1. first-hand experience, strategies and potential missteps of starting a practice from the perspectives of more experienced colleagues.
  2. strategies for promoting services with primary care offices, including how to maintain referral sources and collaborative relationships with primary care physicians.
  3. how to incorporate technology into a practice both from management and clinical perspectives.
