In this one-hour, 1 CEU event, Kim E. Davis, Deputy Director, CHCD will provide an overview of the Consumer Healthcare Division.

About the presenter:
Kim Davis, Deputy Director of the Consumer Health Care Division of the Maine Bureau of Insurance (BOI)
Kim started working for the BOI in 2016 as an Examiner and was promoted to Deputy Director in 2018. Her team, of 10, handles all the health complaints, calls/inquiries and policy approvals (policies to be sold in Maine) for the division. She works during the legislative session providing policy and complaint information for the legislature, monitor bills, collaborating on legislative testimony and implementation of laws, rule-making and testifying in front of the Health Care, Insurance and Financial Services legislative committee.
Kim previously work for Unum for 12 years and acts as the disability subject matter expert for the BOI. Other areas of experience include long term care insurance, banking, finance, Federal and State tax law, and was a small business owner for over 25 years.
